Snow is not my friend....

I generally *hate* snow. I don't like to be cold or wet. I don't like the way my pants get soaked at the bottom when I go out in it. I really don't enjoy walking to school in the snow, but I'm certainly not going to drive because we live a block away from campus. I've just never been a fan of snow. However, once a year I do break down and play in the snow. We have a ton right now so it just had to be done!

This is our last week of the quarter, and I am so excited. I have a taping practical tomorrow, three tests this week, and a written final due on Friday. Not bad compared to usual. I'm ready for a break and some time to myself!

This seems to be the thing to do...

So I'm being a copy cat and I've decided to try this blog thing out because my two beautiful cousins keep one and I love to catch up on their lives via blog. Let's see how this goes ;)

The quarter is officially almost over, with just three more days of regular classes and a week of finals left until Christmas break starts. I am so ready for this quarter to be over. It has definately been one of the roughest so far. Not so much because the work has been difficult, but this course load has been time consuming and stressful. Certainly not the ideal schedule for newlyweds! I'm looking forward to a light quarter during winter and then onto my internship and the real world :)

I am really looking forward to Christmas break and spending lots of quality time with Rob. I want to finally finish the book I've been struggling to read all quarter but just haven't had the time to sit down and read. There is so much scrap booking I've been dying to do but I've been forced to homework instead. And I want to bake, lots :) Baking is one of my favorite things about the holidays! Especially when I can share what I bake with others.

Rob and I have been married for four months, though it feels like forever because we've really been together for 4 1/2 years now (isn't that crazy?!). I'll admit to being scared for a while because things were rocky while we waited for financial aid and I was super stressed with my crazy course load. But we're both making a huge effort to spend more time together and just do the little things that make the day so much better. I don't know how I got so lucky!
